Dose anyone know if these locomotives are still there? Are they still avaliable? Possible new railroad museum in Kansas might be interested in one. I tried to contact IRM but no reply.

Both locomotives have been sold in the past few months - to two different buyers. They are still at Galt pending movement. The extra tender (ex KCS) will be moving to the Union campus, I have heard.Please contact me off this forum about your trouble getting through to IRM. I am glad to hear they were sold. I know the railroad museum that is being started here at Kansas City Union Station wanted the KCS tender. But I was trying to get them to get a locomotive too then swap tenders and paint it KCS. They may still be interested in just the tender.
