Blueprints - free to a good home

De-cluttering the office, and I came across some about 9 blueprints that are for some unknown locomotive(s) built by Richmond in the 1880s-1890s. They do not appear to be for the same locos. I have no recollection of how I got them, and know nothing about them (subliminal message: the answer to any question you have will be "blue" or "I don't know").

If anyone wants them, send me an email with your address. Soon.

I've often wondered if the preservation community needed a cost-effective solution to blueprint reproduction. I happen to have the wherewithall to make blueprint reproductions here at the home office.

I can make diazotype blueprints from any drawing up to E sized. The originals need not be vellums, sepias, or mylars.

Back in the mid 1990's I was able to take the completely disorganized archives for ex-Great Western 2-8-0 number 60, and sort everything out into a usable format. Surprisingly, BR&W has a nearly full set of drawings from ALCo for that locomotive! The few blueprints that were missing, we were fortunate in some cases to have a vellum reproduction as a backup. I was able to simply make a new print from the vellum, but there is a handful of prints that are lost forever (well, someone out there probably has a copy of them).

What was especially nice was to take an original print from 1937, make a "working copy" of it, and then the original could remain in safe storage and the copy could be used on the shop floor.

Anyways, I'm really curious if anyone on here needs their archives, backed up or reproduced. I'd probably be able to beat any other price out there... it depends on the volume, and the drawing size.

Who finally got the Blueprints you offered here. I would like to at least get a copy of them if possible. I can actually make the copies myself if need be.
BTW I couldnt email you directly since I didnt have your email address and it isnt listed here on the memberlist.
