While out exploring in the Philadelphia area I found some old railroad barges being used by a tug company located there. The only one I could tell a previous owner for sure was an old EL lighter or warehouse type barge with has the number 39 or 391. There was another on unknown heritage and also at least two "station" type barges the formerly had a platform between two tracks.

Eastern Towboat also uses a retired railroad carfloat as a landing float at their facility in Charlestown, Massachusetts. This is inside the Autoport under the Tobin Bridge.
