Well, Randy, looks like we need to add a second horsepower alternative. I suggest we modify the older one and call it Welsh Pony Power (WPP), and then coin a new Belgian Draft Horse Power (BDHP). The conversion rate, then, would be BDHP = (8) (WPP), or conversely, WPP = BDHP / 8.

Should we forward this to the National Bureau of Standards? :-) :-)

I'm almost sorry I recommended it in such an off-handed way. I had no idea the price of the book had escalated to that point. I know I paid much less than that four years ago (can't remember exactly but it was well under $100). Locking up important historical information behind prices like that is really a disservice. Keep checking the shows. Maybe reason will prevail there. I can't imagine anyone springing that kind of money for the book. It's hardly a collectible. Remember, they can ask any price they want, but until the money changes hands, actual value has not been determined.
