I was contacted by a local industry yesterday. They informed me that they have a railroad wheel press available. My understanding is that they will donate it to the right group. I don't think we will be taking it. If there is any one interested, please email me and I will put you in contact with the company. I DO NOT know the details or size of the machine. It was described to me as "huge". Other wise, it will be scrapped.

I know this isn't quite the right venue, but my understanding is that time is short.

The wheel press is located in North Carolina. It can probably be shipped anywhere you are willing to pay to have it shipped.

Why not Spencer Shops? Perhaps they could find room for it among the planned boats, airplanes and automobiles in the backshop.. Perhaps it even came from there???
