Photo from the ABPR, apparently taken recently, of an abandoned Whitcomb or Davenport 44-tonner in Detroit area. Anyone know its heritage?

If the link doesn't work, this engine is found on the June 2 and June 4, 2001 pages of the www.Railfan.net ABPR. The second photo shows it to be a Davenport.
