 Post subject: Locomotive Diesel 40 Inch

The are need new 40 Inch wheel which I am for a specialty and know the strength,weight,etc.
Where I do go?

They are need of 40 inch wheel. Which I am specialty an know strength,weight,etc.
Where do I go? This is a single wheel straight from the factory.

You never just replace just ONE wheel. Both wheels on an axle need to be the same size. You can have differences between axle pairs, but the two wheel on an axle should be the same size. Railroads will replace both wheels at the same time and then often turn the axle and wheel assembly on a wheel lath to make sure that the two wheels are the same diameter. An axle pair will often get turned several times to bring back profile before they are replaced.
