Well, the trucks are, if my memory is right, Pullman 2411--cast frame with integral pedestals (the more common 2410 had bolted on pedestals, and the newer 242 had straight equalizers mounted high in the truck, with the coil springs inside the frame, and of course the integral pedestals, too.) These trucks also have a stabilizer bar bolted on.

The car itself doesn't look like an office car. The rear platform is actually what's left of a vestibule. The windows suggest a coach of some sort.

It's sad that this heavyweight is in such poor condition, but maybe some other material, like its air brake gear, could also be reused.

It's also interesting to wonder what the insurance case was.

Probably what we in the biz call "fire" claims, the kind of claim the rest of the world calls homeowner or renter coverage, but property other than an automobile.
