Has any person or group purchased any of the steam locomotives that were for sale at the Trolly Museum in Warehouse Point CT?
I remember there were two 0-4-0Ts a fireless 0-4-0 and of course the wonderful Climax that was operable. Did any of these locos find a home or are they still for sale?

The "deadline" wasn't one. Send in your bid.

Given that they told me that the Climax was worth "around a million" (yeah, I know, I almost laughed myself silly too), I doubt that they've found any buyers.

A friend of mine in the used car business is fond of saying "There's an a$$ for every seat!".
Loosely translated, if they want to wait long enough, there may well eventually be SOMEBODY (with more money than brains) willing to pay that. Perhaps they're hoping Mr. Gates or Mr. Forbes will decide to get into garden railroading in a BIG way.. ;)
OTOH: At least there is a better chance of it eventually having someplace place to run than some of those big Northerns that people seem so fond of.
