Another mystery caboose...

This one is located in Alstead, NH...not too far from Bellows Falls, VT...could it actually be of B&O ancestry?

HI All

I did find some information on the caboose in Alstead, NH according to the list of all known surviving cabooses in New England by Roger Kirkpatrick. They are two cabooses in Alstead, NH both are owned by Frank Whitcomb,

1st ex B&LE now as UP 9706 ex GMRC # 51 this could be the one in photo???

2nd ex Conrail ?? now as AT&SF 9821

Maybe another person on the web, that lives in New Hampshire could be of more help,Pat

This caboose is an ex-Rutland van, sold to MS&N, transfered to GMRC and sold to a former employee. I am not home right now, but think that it is the 40 or 41.
