The CV coach in Rhode Island, long advertised on Ozark Mountain Railcar, is apparently going to be shipped to Granby Colorado. It will be part of a railroad and model railroad museum. The Moffat Road Railroad Museum has announced the project and is now raising the needed funds. The site plan looks like the museum does not plan any operations, and equipment will be plinthed outdoors.

Glad to hear she has a home, wish we had the cash to afford the move. Especially since the CVRy is part of the museum's focus.

Once fixed up she would have looked good coupled up to the NYNH&H 4414, P&R 910 coaches maybe with the SS&W #10 engine tied on the front.

But then again there is only so much time and money for the restorations we already need to do.

Speeding past on the Acela yesterday, I saw what I believe to be the CV car in question wrapped up in a white protective material and sitting on a TOFC flat.

Still headed to CO?

Another Acela trip this week reveals that #382 and her flat are not where they were in RI. Any word on her move and current location?

Supposedly in West Springfield, and apparently in need of more securement for further movement.
