A while back I posted the availability of ex-B&LE 1925 Pressed Steel combine 23 at Canonsburg, PA.

I'm happy to report that it was trucked out of Canonsburg today and is presumably now at its new home at the Everett Railroad.

Plans are to restore it to its original configuration and employ it in excursion service.

The move did conclude successfully, trucked in semi-trailer fashion and reassembled at the Everett RR all in the same day.

The mover was Daily Express.

One more passenger car saved from the torch.

Maybe it won't work out. But maybe seeing if it does will be the best adventure ever.
