We have been working full tilt the last few months to get UP CA 2516 ready for its first season outside in Cheyenne. It will be moved wednesday downtown to the Wasatch Miniature railway at the Events center, it will serve as a ticket office/waiting room/exhibit thru the summer months before returning to its silo home for the winter, please come and see us if you are in Cheyenne. Depot Days is the 16th and 17th of May.
We are actively negotiating to move two items from the Boulder Historical society to Cheyenne for preservation these are C&S car 543 from 1906 and UP CA-1 caboose 3171 from 1923, we need to raise approximately $14,500 to cover transportation to do this.
