In case someone might miss it, in the thread "2 more lifts with IRM crane", shown is the unloading at Union of another FGEX wood reefer, number 55407. This one looks like it needs some TLC, including painting.

HI all-

The west side of FGEX 50220 got some new wood and some new paint. Coat of red applied on the ends, too. Door repairs to be completed. We did not replace every single board on the car, just the ones that were extremely rotted. This is a stabilizing effort, and hopefully this work buys us a few more years.

Painter matched the shade of yellow from the other side, which is brighter than I wanted, but in the end, I'm just happy to have paint on the car. Now visitors to RGVRRM will have something nice and bright to look at.
