Please help ID this logo

The logo shown has posts on the back to attach it to a carbody. Any clue as to what company the logo represents?

A quick google search for STFER shows the most likely candidate to be a tramway in Rome, Italy. However I could find nothing showing that logo.

Definitely the Italian tramway operation. Logo shown on this page....
