A Columbus, Ohio landmark / mainstay closed this week.
Buckeye Steel Castings has closed after over 100 years of steel foundry business.
Their primary products have been couplings and under-carriages for freight and passenger equipment.
Hopefully someone will come through with some cash so they can reopen. This puts about 700 workers out of work.
An interesting note, President Bush's great grandfather was the president of Buckeye Steel in the early 1900's.
