I'm hoping to produce a book with wider photo coverage of railway preservation than anything else published to date. Yes, I'll make a little money from it, and yes, it is indeed a labor of love. I've been a journalist covering North American railway preservation for the last 26 years and this will be a nice addition to that body of work.

I sent Aaron a couple of photos of the J&L Narrow Gauge. I am glad that he is working on this book and wouldn't care if he made all sorts of profit from it. He deserves to get some reward for his hard work and we all get a snapshot of American rail preservation in 2021. Win-win.
