Well, how do we know who are the anonymous users? A name that looks phony? a name that looks like a wicked nickname? a name that looks like what you would call your dog? or how you might initial a document?

I could decide to use a nom de plume create an email account to go with it and then establish a posting account. And you might never know.

Just live with the folks that are not using the name on their driver's license or passport. Don't kick them out of the village.

I just don't see how any aspect of these posts are going to change the overall rep this forum seems to have among some parts of the preservation community (which I only read about here, not anywhere in public or on any other forums. I only hear about other forums in that regard).
Nobody would, and I guess that's the point.
How many times do we see on this and other forums where someone is accused of being a 'sock puppet' login for either someone they don't like or a pal of that person who backs them up?
