The abandoned FJ&G Railroad bridge over State Route 334 in the town of Mohawk was brought down this morning. There is more work to be done to remove the structure before the road will be reopened, so the road will remain closed until further notice.

With only a 12 foot clearance underneath for road vehicles I can see why the bridge needed to be removed.

One look at the pic and I was surprised it lasted this long.
