Alco builders plate question

Hi all I'm currently out of town so don't have access to my library ALCO builders number 79212 April 1952 what locomotive is this from? Thanks santafeboy

I'm guessing you're looking at the listing of said builder's plate on E-Bay:

Seems the history of this plate has not been entirely confirmed:

Black marker writing on the back of the plate says "BLT T&NO #97 RE# SP 1784 RETIRED 9/19/72 SOLD TO G.E. AS TRADE IN" but STRAPAC, EXTRA 2200 SOUTH and DIESEL ERA all say T&NO 97 was an S4 built in October 1951 with serial number 79222. These same sources also confirm this is from a CN FPB2. This plate has always kind of been a mystery - guy I bought it from swore the information on the back is correct - as in off T&NO 97. Since I collect SP, I kept it for years hoping to confirm - but no source found says it is other than the CN unit. As to the fact that it was supposed to be MLW built, DIESEL ERA says FPB2's were also built in the US. This is the only aspect of the ID I'm not completely comfortable with . . . What do you think?
