This is probably a long shot but hey, what the hey. The museum I work for has a series of prints signed "F. Bartlett." They're all the same size, roughly 18" wide, 12" high.

Here's some descriptions:

Stone church or train station by F. Bartlett.
Wilkes-Barre, PA train station by F. Bartlett.
Scranton, PA train station by F. Bartlett.
Peace Dale train station by F. Bartlett.
Lebanon, PA train station by F. Bartlett.
Wyandotte train station by F. Bartlett.
North Conway, NH train station by F. Bartlett.
Cass Scenic, WV, railway engine by F. Bartlett.
Southern railway engine by F. Bartlett.
D&H railway caboose by F. Bartlett.
D&H railway caboose by F. Bartlett.
Railroad pump car by F. Bartlett.
Tugboat by F. Bartlett.
US Mail boat by F. Bartlett.
Two coal breakers by F. Bartlett.
Oil well marked "Drake" by F. Bartlett.
Mill marked "Miller's Mill" by F. Bartlett.

Anyone familiar with the artist? Looking for anything.

Thanks and Happy New Year!

Joshua

Joshua,

The artist to which you speak also did a number of drawings of Steamtown USA Equipment in the aarly 1980's as well as some Strasburg equipment (the camelback comes to mind). I know his stuff is still being sold in the Steamtown Museum Store and the RR Museum of PA shop. You may want to contact them and go to their vendor.

As an aside, one of the Bartlet projects was a Steamtown USA coloring book with simplified, yet very accurate drawings of some Steamtown Equipment. It was a prized possession of mine when I was about 10 and the world made sense....

Happy Hunting

Dave
