Anyone have a good lead for replacement/repair of the control coils for a National Pneumatic 64 volt door opener? Any leads on replacement coils, or somewhere to do a rewind would be most appreciated Attachment: Already have been down the multiple Wabtec roads (as successor to NP/Vapor), with no tangible success. John, My suggestion would be to upgrade to a readily available Graham White Sales solenoid valve perhaps an 816 or 812 would work http://www.grahamwhite.com/main/category.php?C1=1#Solenoid%20Valves if not most motor shops will rewind magnet valve coils. Mike Tillger |

Thanks to RyPN's network of spies, we found out that the coils indeed are available from Vapor Bus/Wabtec. http://www.vapordoors.com/ So, to steal a line from Arlo Guthrie, "if you may know somebody in a similar situation, or you may be in a similar situation..." the replacement Vapor Part # for the 64 volt coil in question is 56230472-04. Thanks to Those in the Shadows who helped out! |
