Futuristic styling from the 1950s. Doesn't one of the Canadian museums have this one now? I think it is hydraulic drive if I remember.

That unit was owned by the Raritan River Steel Corp., at their mill in Perth Amboy, N.J. in the late 1970's or very early 1980's. Dont know where it went from there.

I believe there is one of these things in Clinton, Michigan, at the Southern Michigan Railroad Society, a tourist hauler that runs from there to Tecumseh. When I last saw it about ten years ago it was a bit beat up but not too bad overall.

"The Blue Goose" #1001 is in storage in a warehouse behind the Canada Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa. Ex-CPR G5 #1201 is its' neighbour.
