Grand Trunk Western locomotive shop, long ago. This facility and yard were extensively remodeled after dieselization. The shop continued to turn out high quality overhauls into the 1980s, the last project being the rebuilding of GTW and CV GP9s with low noses and new cabs. CN downgraded it to a running repair facility and may have even razed the buildings since then, I don't know.

When I pass by the area on the ol' Michigan Central while riding Amtrak I can see that water tower, which is blue and still reads GT, especially since the Kellogg's plant has been downsized.
