Does anyone know of a website featuring the restoration of Mr. McCormack's Alco PA? It certainly would be interesting to follow as it progresses. Anyone know of any mechanical or electrical challenges faced with the FM Erie-built A-1-A trucks? Why did the Smithsonian pick the more beat up hulk? I speculate that the reason is that it is the oldest PA (is that right?) Thanks in advance.
