What's the news on the 1391? I have heard news that the project is dead in the water due to lack of funding, lots of debt and a bad firebox. Is this the whole story?

Not dead. An announcement is coming next week on possible changes to the "how" and maybe the "where" that the restoration will continue. Until then, do everyone a favor and ignore the speculation that's now all over the internet including posts by visitors on our own website.

That is good to hear, I hope that the news is good.

Goes to show that the great information passer we call the internet can be as big a burden as it can be a blessing.

The Internet is a wealth of mis-information.
