Hi Guys,

Updated my anthracite site. No original content from me this time, but some good links from friends including Mike Piersa's aerial tour of NE PA railroad and industry sites. Plus the news of a DL&W roundhouse demolition.

Also on AOTT we are reporting the possible scrapping of a VERY intact Lehigh Valley 40ft boxcar and the saving of a steel mill hot metal car.

I drove by the Catasauqua, PA site and the former LV box car is gone, as are the 2 covered hoppers. Also, all the former Crane RR/ L&NE trackage on this site has been removed. All of this was intact earlier this year as I was on the property in connection with my work. The remoavl appears very recent.

The LV box car was fairly complete but did have several holes cut into the sides when it was modified for use as storage.
