I had a chance to meet the doctor a few weeks ago, along with two other gents.

They were great ambassadors for SRC.

Is there anything you guys can't do?

Thats an interesting air compressor arrangement on that 124. Where did it come from that they needed that much air? Most tank engines seem to do just fine with a single stage compressor. Or was it added on later in the locomotive's life, simply because it was available?

I used the 4 3/10 sellers that had the new nozzle on it all day today without any problems. That thing worked like a charm. Now if only it had the quick acting water valve...

I also can't get over how neat that eccentric lubrication system is. It makes so much sense! I think of an upside down cow milker when I see it.
