Does everybody know of "The Tin Man" ? This guy in Ohio manufactures tinware products manufactured to railroad specifications. He has 18 railroad items ranging from engineer long oilers to tallow pots, journal oiler, signal case for flags, fusee & torpedo container. Great stuff.
The Tin Man is at www.onthesquare.com/tinman

He was displaying his wares at the joint ARM/TRAIN meeting at Salisbury this last November.

For this community, he would do well to display his wares on his website. I couldn't find any railroad related items, although his 'matchbox' intrigues me. Do you know if he has literature for the railroad related products? I guess I'll give him a call tomorrow.

BTW--last year, we had some brass longneck oilers show up here at the Heber Valley (fabricator unknown) but they were more show than function (caps for filler openings too thin, easily dinged, unattached, no "valve", etc.)

NNRy #93 moves in next week!!
