Since I was on the topic of the almighty dollar, I wanted to remind everyone that the annual Photo Shoots are scheduled for both the Nevada Northern Railway and the Heber Valley Railroad in February. Your patronage of these events will help bring two steam locomotives back into service. Here at the NN Ry money will be invested in 93 and at the Heber, they are working to get 75 back in service. So come out, freeze parts of your body, get great pictures and know that you’re financial contribution is helping to get to steamers hot again.

I was on the website earlier today. I wish I could come but can't due to work schedule. I loved the part on the website that reads:

"You'll freeze your butt off (hopefully), but we'll keep the fires burning in the cabooses. True, you may have to have your frostbitten fingers, toes, and nose amputated . . . but when you see your photos, you will be glad that you gave up a body part or two for images that will last a lifetime."
