Don't know Dennis, but if it is roadworthy and in good shape the price seems reasonable. Wish it was Central of Georgia.

That is definitely not the crane at Wellington! The LSRA crane is a 1974 Orton complete with boom and crew car and all rigging and is not for sale. It was the CSX wrecker out of Willard and is fully operational. The coincidence is "Dennis". I'm gonna get blamed for all kinds of stuff, and I don't have any idea who these folks are!

I knew I saw this on Rail Swap. The group is the Northwest Ohio Railroad Preservation. The contact is a Mr. Dennis H. The crane is a full size Industrial Brownhoist 200 tonner. I cannot tell from the photo if it has roller bearings, if not, you'd need to scrounge some up and converters to work in those Buckeye trucks.

The contact for it is a Dennis H., whom I suspect bought the crane on his own to keep it from the scrappers, but hasn't a use for it. 8K doesn't seem too unreasonable, if moving it isn't a real bother.

Hi, I have received a couple of e-mails on this crane asking if it is still for sale (yes). It is the X45 200 ton steam crane, (B&O). A picture of it is on railswap.org. It is located near Akron, OH on private property. We are a 501(c)3 group located in Findlay, OH. Our web site is coming soon. Dennis H. Northwest Ohio Railroad Preservation, Inc.
