Does anyone know if a photo exists of the side elevation, or a 3/4 broadside of one of these cars in service? Specifically, cars 53 & 56. RE (round end) bar-observation-lounge. They are listed in Streamliner Cars Volume 3, ACF and Other Builders (Randall) , on page 129, with the release date of 9-1940.

Page 455 of The Trains We Rode, Vol. 1, has a dead-on shot of the obs end showing the tail sign and just a corner of the roof. Based on the pix of the ''rebuilt'' coaches on the opposite page, they did not streamline the roofs. With the obs, they simply tapered the clerestory down to the roof gutter, and rounded off the end. Must have looked really strange from the side. I read they were pretty well rehabbed inside, but aside from paint, stripes and embossed car numbers, they were pretty much original. Any leads are appreciated!
