LaCrosse, WI Birney car (#12) status?

The newsclip is five years old. Does anybody have current information on the car's status?

Purportedly LaCrosse County Historical Society owns the car, but its website yields no information.

Today, LaCrosse County Historical Society advised me that Birney # 12 is still under cover. Regrettably, it has had no restoration work.

"Work will begin after completion of a couple of projects ahead of it."

Probably the best way to revive that car is to follow the example of the Manheim (PA) Historical Museum which enabled a core group of trolley fans to restore the Conestoga Traction Birney as a separate entity.
