No, just a good mine in WV.

I'm not sure it is possible to compare these things on an apples to apples basis. For one thing I suspect we all buy different grades of coal. Some may be specific to a particular engine, some to a particular place of operation, some to the skill of the fireman. TVRM operates in the middle of a city and smoke is an issue.

Then there is the issue of transportaition. Last I checked Wisconsin wasn't the heart of coal production and Tennessee's coal isn't all that great from a combustion properties point of view. That's why we go to WV. Where do you get your coal from and how is it rated?

Jason, my comment is only to make sure we do not provide any mis-information here.
The stored energy in hydrocarbon fuels has yet to be matched by another in combustion. PERIOD
I'm happy to hear that Disney is having success with the fryoil. I think it is a great alternative fuel. I encourage people to look at the biofuels as a solution - but they should understand what properties the fuel has or why they are producing more heat. I simply want to make clear that using a petroleum oil, with similar weight or specific gravity, will always have more BTU. So, if you can buy filtered UMO/#4 for $1.25/gal vs. diesel or #2 fuel oil for $3.20/gal AND you get more energy, it might be a more viable solution - or maybe the biofuel does provide enough energy, and obviously it is cheaper.
