It looks as if the old L&N depot here was preserved (or supposed to be). There is equipment here. Steam of some type. An L&N baggage car? Some type of Pullman? What else? Anybody got any idea? Maybe a new chapter needs to be added to the "Lost engines..." website.

If there was ever a poster child for a park display engine looking worse than the Roanoke scrapyard engines, I'd say this one has got to be it! I'm assuming this Baldwin 0-4-0T shown here on steamlocomotive.info is the same engine: http://www.steamlocomotive.info/vlocomo ... Display=24

If anyone can provide me with more info and photos, I'll happily add it to the Lost Engines site.

As far as I know the equipment in Andlausia is privately owned. No NHRS chapter, etc. There has been chatter on the Alrails Yahoo group in the past about these. If I recall, the owner doesn't have an $$ to do anything with the equipt., but won't part with it.

In the background of that shot on Steamlocomotive.info I see a caboose and what looks like it might be a steam locomotive tender along with the baggage car there. Steamlocomotive.info also shows a Heisler in Andalusia: http://www.steamlocomotive.info/vlocomo ... isplay=350 - I'm not sure if it's part of the same collection, but it appears to be in somewhat better shape than the 0-4-0 anyway (not that that's saying much).

In the notes section of the photo, it says the loco was sold and has been moved.
