The Mogul does not look operable today! IF this is really #1501 (as it appears to be) it is an 1894 Rogers (s/n 5000) originally built as a 2-6-4T Forney. Is this one of those that was listed on the "For Sale" list a while back? If so, buyer beware!

1501 is one of a group of particularly rare or unusual locomotives that have been moved to Havana for a future railroad museum. It includes the oldest locomotives still found on the island, along with a Henschel and some other locomotives/items already in Havana.
