I guess I have lived in Kentucky too long. We have a county down here that is spelled Wolfe.

I lived in Helena for a couple of years back in the early eighties.

Scott,

I just google earthed the entire line from Helena to Great Falls and noticed that the photos have a huge amount of cars "blocking" the line around the town you mentioned "Ulm". I could not find the wash out from Google.

There must be at least 200 hundred cars in about 3 cuts on the line.

The line to up to the town of "Wolf Creek" from Helena has some very pretty scenery indeed. I had forgotton about the Gates to the Mountains.

I looked again at Ulm and did find the washout. It looks like about 200 foot gone.

To all of those interested in the restoration of Northern Pacific 1364 in Toppenish. The locomotive is now on its spring/equalizing gear, and the brake rigging is on, one brake cylinder is giving us problems, that is soon to be resolved, i hope. The valves are next, then rods, complete the air system and then on to fire pan. Past that we will see how far the money goes.

A question, does anyone have pictures of the oil conversions on the s4's?

and if anyone wants to help out with the restoration please let me know.
