I was wondering if anyone could tell me exactly when the Baldwin Babyface cab units (DR 6--6-1500) on the SAL RR were scrapped and the location that they were scrapped.
Also, I know that the CRRofNJ DR 4-4-1500's (Babyface cabs) lasted until 1967. Any idea exactly when they were scrapped ?

Thanks !

For those who aren't aware of it, Pielet Bros. had a contract with EMD that insisted all incoming locomotives be scrapped without regard to possible overtures by preservationists. Rather than say Pielet or EMD were anti-preservation, the idea was to keep second-hand locomotives off the market.
