Preserved GB&W Diesel in Danger ?

Rumor has it that the Nation RR Museum in Green Bay, WI may be thinning out their collection. One of the purported 'victims' is the former GB&W Alco C430 315.

It is said the 315 is long overdue for paint and is 'severely' corroded.

That would seem an odd choice for disposal. It was bought new from Alco by the GB&W and of course was the last new model offered by Alco. If I recall correctly, unlike the 4 surviving ex-NYC units, it doesn't have the high-adhesion trucks.

Anyone in Scranton listening? I could see this one leading the Portland Turn through Cresco...

The loco is a hulk-no engine, alternator, auxiliaries or traction motors.
