Greetings,

I was reading and saw CN&W observation cars 7200 and 7201 were retired in 1964 and sold to the National Railways of Mexico. Does anybody know if these still exist or any others for that matter?

I would doubt that the cars would still be around as Mexico dropped its passenger service several years ago.

The cars became:

CNW 7200 - NdeM 374 CLUB ISAAC ROMERO MALPICA

CNW 7201 - NdeM 375 CLUB JOSE MARIA CARDENAS

It may still be a possibility though since there is still a NYC Budd observation car still down there. (hopefully the link worked and you can view it there) I'm waiting on a response from some friends down in Mexico and will post it here once I find out.

I doubt that this car exists today. I took that photo in 1980 at the SCD yard in Mexico City.
I delivered 10 sleepers to NdeM between 1980-82 but they are all scrapped now from the info I've been able to gather.
