I passed by the roundhouse the other day and snapped this photo of recently relocated 6214 sitting next to GP7 4803, parked next to the coaling tower.

The coaling tower recently had some remedial work done to the concrete, which had been cracking and crumbling for some time, followed by several gaint Leon's signs placed on top of the structure, and another proclaiming "Roundhouse".

The buckets that brought coal up to the top of the coaling tower as well as all the stairs and railings to get to the top of the tower were retained and are stored inside the roundhouse, whether or not any of it will be put back on remains to be seen. As far as I can tell nothing is left of the chutes or the counterweights.

For the time being, 6214 is over due for a new paint job and that may happen later this year, preferably once all the construction is finished.

Also, the Leon's is open for business, the brewery is brewing, and the museum's 3 stalls (of the 32 stall roundhouse) are currently being worked on, and should be ready in a few months time.

Personally I can't wait. I look forward to making use of those inspections pits. Back at the CNE, while prepping 6214 for her move, we just barely fit under the engine, now at the roundhouse, with all the brickwork, grass, etc. between the rails (in the park), there is no room at all to get under the engine. A few weeks ago, we had hoped to get underneath and inspect the driver journals, but there just wasn't enough room.

As for the Geep, I have no idea whats happening with that.

I wonder if the two engines had ever encountered each other in their past lives?

Okay Joe! You can stop playing games now! We all know you've been doctoring this picture to make 6213 look like 6214.

Joe has been involved with helping with the prep work to move the engine a month ago. For some reason he is trying to pull a fast one!!

Just for a cheap laugh Grant put 6214's number plate on the engine, and then I doctored the numberboards afterwards.

Besides, this isn't the first time one CNR engine has impersonated another...

True. CNR Hudson #5703 has been impersonating #5700 for over 45 years now.

How about Number 40? That was never even a CNR engine to begin with, (although it was a GTR engine, sold prior to the the railway being merged into CNR). I wonder, was it ever in steam on the museum train, or was it just pulled around?

It was never steamed for the museum train. It was just dead weight.
