Not as crazy as it sounds. Both the Erie and the Lackawanna served bottled water in their dining cars at one time that had come from on-line springs. I thought it would be really neat to sell bottled water from one of them. It turned out that both springs had shut down early in the 20th century when it was found that they had really bad stuff in their water - in the case of the Erie there was trace amounts of arsenic - oops!

Well, our water is bottled from the condensate drained from the air tanks. It has wonderful body with a slight hint of lubricating oil. :)
