 Post subject: CNR Builders plate help needed.

I Have a question on the MLW builders plates. Were they originally all black, black with brass lettering, black with red lettering or??? I am prepping the original plates for display in a cabinet with fresh black paint and polished brass lettering. I want to know what the original paint would be so I can make sure the replicas are 100% accurate.

probably all black. Although polishing the raised brass surfaces looks really nice.
