More Passenger Cars On the Move--B&ML to NC

Spotted Wednesday in Manassas, Va.: Two ex-Belfast & Moosehead Lake passenger cars en route to Salisbury, NC and probably further beyond:

Anyone know the destination?

Spencer. They are ex-Southern cars.

Yes, they are heading for Spencer. In fact the cars were delivered by NS earlier today. Now we just need the trucks. The flat car carrying them was bad ordered in Enola, PA earlier in the week.

As the Southern used to say "the rails are singing!" glad to see these cars saved and along the Southern.

Now if we can just load those soon to be empty flats with a couple of Reading coaches and send them back north.

Repatriation is not cheap. If you like seeing this, think about making a donation or join the non-profit at Spencer. It will be a good way to get the SR coaches going sooner than later. Jim
