It may be of the class of the Kaiser shipyard cars, former NYC 2nd Ave. line. There is some disagreement among the experts of the Western Railway Museum whether this is indeed among the same class of cars. If so, to put one of those fuzzy human spins on it, these are the class of cars that Rosie the Riveter rode on her way to work.
