That MOPAC observation car looks beautiful!

It would like nice behind Frisco 1522, if the locomotive was still running. Maybe UP could use it on one their excursion trains behind 844 or 3985, along with UP 8379 (1982 MOPAC Locomotive)

I really doubt this car, as nice as it looks, will be going anywhere as the railroad replaced its original roller bearings with friction ones before donating it to the museum. And since it was built with roller bearings I was shocked to discover the change myself after being at the museum for several years at the time. It made sense from the point of view of the MP and I doubt the museum was asked about it at the time, which was in 1963.
