I looked up Lot 1452 in the list of "Early Pullman Freight and Passenger Car Production" prepared by Eric A. Neubauer. This is available as a PDF file on CD. (see http://ericsrailroadcarhistory.com/)

Lot 1452 entry notes that five cars were built on this order, all to plan 320A (10-87) and were built March of 1888:

4 cars for DT&FW nos 45-48
1 car for FW&D no 6

Additional notes regarding the four cars for DT&FW:

DT&FW 45-46 to UPD&G 201-202, 371-372 or 380-381 by 8-92
DT&FW 45 to UPD&G 731 then C&S 513

I hadnt seen that reference work before, but the history matches exactly what we have. Our car was originally DT&FW 45, became UPD&G 371, then C&S 57 in 1899 and finally 513 in 1906, ending its career as 99924. Its so great being able to read a listing like Erics but have the real beast that carried those numbers still with us.
