The Ackenback Live Steamers will have a display of operating steam trains at the Electric City Trolley Station and Museum. These are real steam trains, in scales of 32mm and 45mm track gauge. The display will be during regular museum operating hours, 9 AM to 5 PM every day of the week of the convention. No additional charge, beyond the museum entrance fee. The Trolley museum is located in the Steamtown grounds.

Steve Barry, Editor of Railfan and Railroad Magazine, offers this free of charge program in the Amphitheater of the Hilton Scranton and Conference Center. Computer programs offer many ways to preserve and often improve our railroad photos and documents, but the procedures can be difficult. On June 22 at 6pm, the Lackawanna Historical Society in conjunction with the Dunmore Historical Society will host Sal Mecca and Victor Capooci who will present a power point presentation on the Pennsylvania Gravity Railroad at the LHS headquarters, the Catlin House, 232 Monroe Avenue in Scranton. We are pleased to offer an invitation to all convention attendees (or as many as we can accommodate!) for this program followed by an informal reception and open house to tour the LHS exhibits and browse our bookstore.

Flagg Coal 75 will be arriving in less than 2 weeks, as will a genuine restored PRR Caboose. Steamtown's CN 3254 is in steam and ready to roll, the DL's 3 RS-3's made their first run together of 2010 and the DL&W F3's will debut! R&N's 425 is already out and about and we've still got a bonus or two in the wings....
