Yes, that museum is a go get 'em group.

They are the only traction museum with overhead wire in place in the State of New York. It will be great when they get the rest of the wire up and connect with the other museum. i think that they are the only pair of railroad museums in the country connected by a railroad line.

i hope some day that they get to operate some New York State cars over their rails!

I just sent them some books for their library or for resale.

Thanks for the compliments! Both the NYMT and its partner, the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum, are working very hard to give our visitors a unique railroad and traction experience with each museum at either end of our nearly 2-mile demonstration railroad. The overhead wire currently extends over 1-mile of the railroad, and plans are underway to extend it, but other priorities this year have taken precedence.
