All,

Follow the above link to my images from the D&RGW #315 runs at Railfest last week on the Durango & Silverton Railroad. These photographs are only the icing on the cake, its the overall experience of narrow gauge railroading in the Colorado Mountains; the sights, the sounds, the smells; the people you meet, the friends you make, the passion we all share. We railfans are very fortunate to have the Durango Railroad Historical Society and the D&S for keeping the dream very much alive for us all.

Click on "Slideshow" at the top right of the screen.

Enjoy,
Matthew

The shot with green passenger consist on the trestle is a stunner. Beautiful engine, gorgeous train, well captured. Nice!

Not exactly the standard runby wedgie. I put that baby on slide show, and WOWIE!

Good stuff.

Any chance I can get a couple of hi res 315 photos for RMQ/Trainline? Send them to rmqeditor@railwaymuseums.org.

Thank you all for your kind words about my photography.

More importantly, I would like to thank individually and collectively the Durango Railroad Historical Society and the D&S, these scenes I captured could have not been possible without their efforts.
It’s easy to be behind the camera releasing the shutter; they made it happen.
